Customer Service Representative

The ideal Customer Service Representative will be responsible for performing the below job functions including but not limited to:

• Accurately enter and process purchase orders in a timely manner
• Correspond with customers and internaland external company representatives on all matters related to the order
• Diligently follow purchase orders through to completion, working with appropriate parties to quickly resolve issues that may delay timely processing
• Perform general office and clerical tasks
• Other related Customer Service/ Order Entry office duties as deemed necessary

Qualifications:

• Prior experience entering purchase orders within a manufacturing setting/sales office environment
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and pleasant phone manner to service incoming and outgoing calls
• Proficiency in use of computers and related software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented work ethic
• Knowledge of SAGE100 preferred but not required.

Schedule: Full-time (9am-5pm), Monday-Friday

Rate of pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour; which may be increased upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period.
