Work When It Works for You.Field Technician — Bulk Water Machines1099 Independent Contractor | $28/hr | Chicago, ILIf you like working independently, hate being stuck at a desk, and want a consistent route you can count on — this might be exactly what you're looking for.NWS operates water vending machines in retail stores across the country. We're building a team of Field Technicians in Chicago, IL, to keep those machines clean, stocked, and running right. It's straightforward work, it pays well, and you're in charge of your own time.What You'll Actually Be DoingEach week (or every two weeks, depending on the location), you'll visit your assigned stores and:Clean and disinfect the bulk water machine inside and outTake meter readings and log the data on your service reportSnap photos of the machine condition at every visitSubmit your completed report to the home office when you're doneCall in anything that looks off — damage, mechanical issues, anything unusualThat's it. Each stop takes about an hour.
