Description

The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting quality assurance activities within the JGAM Qualitydepartment. This role ensures compliance with IATF/ISO standards, assists with new product development, and maintains effective quality control processes throughout production. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and hands-on experience in stamping, molding, over molding, assembly, and wire harnessing operations in the connector or automotive industries.

Qualifications

Essential Duties And/Or Responsibilities: 1. Product & Process Quality: Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA), including Gage R&Rs and CPK studies. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and capability evaluations on new and modified tooling. Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone). 2. Quality Management System: Support the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015. Conduct and participate in internal audits, layered process audits (LPAs), and process verifications. Assist in documentation updates, PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
