The Opportunity

FuntoNetwork is seeking a Transit Facility Design Engineer for upcoming project opportunity: GoRaleigh Operations and Maintenance Facility Expansion.

Core Responsibilities

• Assess existing conditions affecting the GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion design.
• Identify the physical and operating constraints for GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion.
• Compare feasible GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion design alternatives.
• Prepare the calculations needed to size or assess GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion components.
• Develop the assigned GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion layout and component details.
• Check GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion interfaces with adjoining systems and site features.
• Review proposed GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion materials and component selections.
• Resolve design comments affecting GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion installation.
• Compare installed GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion components with the agreed design.
• Document design changes and technical findings needed for GoRaleigh administrative and maintenance building expansion handover.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience performing Transit Facility Design Engineer responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments.
• Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
• Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.
