HR Specialist
Our US Human Resources Department is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join our team and support the management of our HRIS system, employee relations, and recruitment for both temporary associates and hourly full-time employees. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the HRIS system in your assigned region, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing training to HR staff as needed. You will also work closely with local management to resolve employee relations issues and provide guidance on best practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for the recruitment of both temporary associates and hourly full-time employees, working with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and developing and executing sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the HRIS system for the assigned region, ensuring accurate data entry, and providing training to HR staff as needed.
Provide guidance to local management on employee relations issues, including disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract top talent for both temporary associates and hourly full-time employees.
Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely recruitment.
Conduct interviews and manage the hiring process, including background checks and new hire orientation.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with staffing agencies and other recruitment sources.
Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
Participate in special HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on HRIS management, employee relations, and recruitment.
HR experience in a US-based company preferred (prior experience working in a Human Resources role for a company based in the United States).
Knowledge of United States labor laws and regulations preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
