Inventory Parts Clerk

Location: Lynwood, CA Shift: 1st Shift

Hourly Pay Range and Other Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $23.00 $25.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Schedule: Monday Friday

About the Role: We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company seeking an Inventory Parts Clerk to support the Maintenance Department. This role is responsible for maintaining maintenance parts inventory, processing work orders, coordinating materials, and ensuring maintenance personnel have the parts and resources needed to keep operations running efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with inventory, parts, or maintenance support experience looking to join a stable manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Generate reports as needed for the Maintenance team.
  • Review, assign, and print work orders from the work order system.
  • Receive, enter, and manage maintenance parts inventory.
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Enter requisitions for maintenance parts and materials.
  • Reconcile receiving records against purchase orders for accurate reporting.
  • Maintain an organized parts room using 5S principles.
  • Assist with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including OEM manuals, drawings, and supplier catalogs.
  • Support the Maintenance team by coordinating parts, materials, and equipment.
  • Comply with OSHA, company safety policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience supporting maintenance, inventory, stockroom, or parts operations preferred.
  • Experience with work orders, inventory systems, or Oracle is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and follow written instructions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work various hours and shifts as needed.
Preferred:
  • Experience using Oracle or a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of 5S principles and inventory control.
  • Experience supporting maintenance operations.
