Overview A law firm seeks a Partner-level Land Use and Zoning Attorney to join their Connecticut practice in Greenwich, CT. This position is ideal for an experienced attorney with a strong network in the Connecticut real estate development and municipal community. The role involves expanding the firm's land use and zoning practice while collaborating with other practice areas.Responsibilities Represent clients in land use, zoning, and permitting matters.Lead client representation before municipal boards and regulatory agencies.Advise on variances, special permits, site plan approvals, and entitlement strategies.Maintain and grow a portable book of business and develop new client relationships.Collaborate across practice groups to provide comprehensive client service.Meet billable expectations and contribute to practice group growth.Participate in mentoring junior attorneys and firm leadership activities.Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to the Connecticut Bar and in good standing (New York admission a plus).7+ years of experience in land use and zoning law.Demonstrated portable book of business.Strong professional reputation within the Connecticut land use community.Experience appearing before municipal land use boards and commissions.Excellent advocacy, drafting, and client-management skills.Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications Admission to the Connecticut Bar.Skills Strong advocacy and client-management skills.Ability to collaborate across practice groups.Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.401(k) plan.Paid time off.Voluntary programs.Professional liability insurance coverage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
