Line Cook

We are seeking a skilled and motivated contract line cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess strong culinary skills. As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes according to our restaurant's standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Handle and store ingredients properly to minimize waste.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to food quality and presentation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience is a plus.
