Shift Details:
M-F 0800-1630
40 hours/week
Medical Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information.
Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures.
Perform basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection, injections, wound care, and medication administration as permitted by state regulations.
Schedule appointments, maintain patient records, and perform other administrative duties as needed.
Educate patients on medications, treatments, and follow-up care instructions.
Ensure examination rooms, equipment, and supplies are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Follow infection control practices, safety protocols, and facility policies
Provider support including rooming, scheduling, and procedure set up/assistance, RN support including telemeds, EKGs, supply coordination, DME distribution, routine patient assessments, wound care, and phlebotomy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current license as an RN in the state of WI
High School diploma or equivalent
American Heart Association BLS, for Health Care Providers
Certified Medical Assistant through American Associate of Medical Assistants (AAMA) if required by client. If CMA is required by client, verification will be completed through AAMA.
Minimum of one (1) year related work experience within the last 3 years
Additional certifications may be required.
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
