Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Architect to lead architecture and design initiatives for a strategic P&C Insurance engagement.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Enterprise Solution Architecture, .NET/Azure, Microservices, Modernization, and Integration Architecture, along with deep P&C Insurance domain experience.
This is a senior, client-facing architecture role requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Directors, AVPs, and CIO-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across multiple programs, including Forms Modernization, Data Platforms, and AI initiatives.
• Define target-state architecture, integration patterns, system interactions, and technical roadmaps.
• Lead architecture reviews, design governance, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Drive modernization initiatives involving:
  • Document generation/CCM platforms such as GhostDraft or similar tools
  • Rules engines such as Coherent or equivalent
  • Legacy AS400 / VB-based system modernization
• Define scalable API-led and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior client stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and architecture roadmaps.
• Participate in architecture walkthroughs, steering discussions, and executive presentations.
• Provide hands-on architectural guidance across:
  • .NET / Microservices
  • Azure / Cloud-Native Architecture
  • REST APIs and Integration
  • Messaging and Event-Driven Architecture
• Mentor engineering teams and promote architecture and development best practices.
• Support architecture for data platforms, including Snowflake and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Support AI/ML solutions, including RAG, document intelligence, and automation.
• Collaborate with AI teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and enterprise-ready.
• Partner with Delivery Managers to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with project timelines and budgets.
• Identify architecture risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies early.

 
Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture.
• Strong P&C Insurance domain experience – MUST HAVE, particularly across:
  • Policy
  • Billing
  • Claims
• Strong expertise in Enterprise Architecture and Distributed Systems.
• Extensive experience with .NET and Cloud-Native Architecture; Azure preferred.
• Strong API design and integration experience.
• Experience modernizing and transforming legacy systems.
• Strong understanding of data platforms and AI-driven solutions.
• Excellent executive-level communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience influencing technical decisions across distributed/onshore-offshore teams.

 
Nice to Have

• Experience with GhostDraft, Coherent, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to Duck Creek or other P&C Insurance platforms.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow/CMDB.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
• Experience working in onshore-offshore delivery models.
• Previous experience as a client-facing Architect within consulting or IT services organizations.

 
Ideal Candidate
The strongest candidates will be Senior/Enterprise Architects with 15+ years of experience, deep P&C Insurance expertise, and a strong .NET/Azure architecture background. Candidates should be comfortable working directly with senior business and technology leadership and leading large-scale modernization initiatives.
Important: P&C Insurance domain experience is a must-have for this position.
