.NET Developer

Location: within 50 miles of Jersey City, NJ | Plano, TX | Charlotte, NC- 3 days on site mandatory in a week

Pay Range: $70- $75/Hr.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 from Day 1

Position: Mid-Level .NET Desktop / Full-Stack Developer

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days per week on-site)

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Mid-Level .NET Full-Stack Developer to join our enterprise application engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, testing, documentation, and ongoing support of high-performance applications, data pipelines, and analytical tools.

You will operate as a fully seasoned technical resource handling complex production initiatives, often translating high-level business requirements into robust, scalable software architectures with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Architect, develop, and maintain performant full-stack and desktop solutions using C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, and related frameworks.

• Database Engineering: Design complex database schemas, write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, DDL, and DML scripts on MS SQL Server and Oracle databases.

• Workflow & Automation: Develop and maintain backend batch processing, data pipelines, and automation utilities using server-side scripting languages (Python, Perl, or PHP).

• Business Intelligence & Reporting: Integrate application data with enterprise BI visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or ThoughtSpot) to support reporting workflows and dashboards.

• Technical Architecture: Contribute to system design, technical direction, and performance-tuning initiatives across enterprise production applications.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and QA teams to clarify requirements, deliver dependable software, and ensure adherence to enterprise quality standards.

• Production Support & Maintenance: Troubleshoot production issues, ensure code reliability through automated and unit testing, and maintain up-to-date system documentation.

Candidate Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience: Typically 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering robust production applications.

• Database Proficiency: 5+ years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server (DDL, DML, indexing, performance tuning) and experience working with SQL Server or Oracle.

• Web & Core .NET: 3+ years of experience building applications using ASP.NET MVC, C#, and the .NET Framework / .NET Core.

• Scripting: Demonstrable experience with server-side scripting languages (such as Python, Perl, or PHP) for automation and data extraction.

• BI & Analytics Integration: Experience working with or integrating data into BI platforms such as Tableau, Alteryx, MicroStrategy, or ThoughtSpot.

• Soft Skills & Ownership: High autonomy, strong analytical problem-solving abilities, excellent verbal/written communication, and the agility to navigate fast-paced delivery cycles with limited initial documentation.

Preferred / Optional Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing Windows desktop applications using client-side .NET technologies (WPF, WinForms) with C#.

• Experience working with high-volume enterprise data systems and batch processing workflows.
