Bellevue, NE, US11 days ago Requisition ID: 2680Primary FunctionsThe Tutor is responsible for providing tutoring sessions via Zoom or in-person to assist students in achieving academic success.Essential FunctionsFacilitate academic success by offering tutoring sessions to clarify course concepts, review class materials, discuss textbook content, and work through practice problems.Conduct tutoring sessions either in person or via Zoom, on a scheduled or as-needed basis.Assist with day-to-day tutoring operations while working independently under minimal supervision.Marginal Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms other duties as requested.Qualifications/SkillsMust have received an “A” or be able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Financial or Managerial Accounting courses.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships through clear and tactful communication.Sound judgment and the ability to resolve problems independently or seek managerial assistance as needed.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive student information.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and a commitment to student success.Works in a normal office environment.NOTE: The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work involved for this job.
