Job Description:

We are in search of a Geotechnical Project Manager specializing in pre-construction activities with a focus on ground improvement. This role, based in Southern Massachusetts, offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote and in-office responsibilities for optimal flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with general contractors, consultants, and project owners to drive business development initiatives during the pre-construction phase.

• Oversee a portfolio of 50-60 projects at various stages, from initial estimation to final proposal and negotiation, collaborating closely with construction project managers.

• Showcase adeptness in follow-up, personnel management, time management, and problem-solving to ensure timely project milestones.

• Serve as a representative of the company at industry gatherings and potentially conduct educational sessions to bolster business development efforts.

• Preferably possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license and hold a Master's degree with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated track record in pre-construction sales and business development within the geotechnical or construction sectors

• Proficiency in managing multiple projects concurrently across various stages of development

• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with industry peers

• Preference for a Professional Engineer (PE) license and a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering

• Proven ability to excel in a hybrid work environment, adept at balancing remote work and in-office presence
