Collins Companies, Pallette Stone Corporation is seeking a Precast Concrete Estimator at our Saratoga Springs, NY facility.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Reviewplans and recognize potential precast bid opportunities

• Prepareaccurate quotations and shop drawings based on project specific plans andspecifications

• Utilizeinventory / invoicing software to ensure accurate and timely billing

• Gainfull understanding of NYSDOT and National Precast Concrete Association(NPCA) standards for precast concrete

• Gainfull understanding of precast Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA)program

Essential Functions:

• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods

• Ability to work outside of scheduled hours to meet demands of position

Required Qualifications:

• Basicknowledge of concrete and various aspects of construction

• Strongmathematics skills with the ability to calculate, analyze data and computerates, ratios and percentages

• Excellenttime management skills and the ability to prioritize work

• Strongability to plan, organize and work independently to meet expecteddeadlines

• Strongability to read and understand project plans and specifications

• Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills

• Demonstratedability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

• Proficiencyin MS Word, Outlook, Excel

• Musthave a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to report to workon time with record acceptable to the company's insurers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experiencewith telephone-based customer service

• Experiencewith Excel spread sheets

• Experiencein construction estimating/sales

Compensation:

Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.

Annual Salary

$30,400.00 - $78,750.00

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
