Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and portion seafood ingredients according to restaurant standards and recipes
• Assist in the preparation of vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients needed for daily service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station and storage areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Support the kitchen team in completing prep tasks efficiently to meet service demands
• Ensure all ingredients are stored properly and rotated according to safety standards
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a prep cook or line cook role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant
• Knowledge of seafood handling and preparation techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
