PREP COOKVillagio Hospitality Group is growing! We're seeking dedicated and detail-oriented
Prep Cooks to join the opening culinary team at the brand-new Tempo by Hilton. You'll support both Moonsong Café, our stylish all-day café, and Repeal Speakeasy, a Prohibition-inspired cocktail lounge serving refined small plates and late-night fare.

Primary Responsibilities:- Wash, peel, chop, measure, and portion ingredients for daily prep and service
- Assist with basic cooking tasks such as parboiling, reducing sauces, and prepping side dishes
- Follow recipes and prep lists accurately and efficiently
- Maintain food safety standards, proper storage practices, and labeling using FIFO procedures
- Keep prep area clean, organized, and sanitized throughout the shift
- Alert chefs or supervisors of low inventory levels and assist with restocking
Requirements:- Ability to follow recipes and verbal instructions precisely
- Good organizational skills and time management
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Team-player attitude and willingness to take direction from multiple chefs
Preferred Qualifications:- High School diploma or equivalent required; culinary coursework preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a prep cook or kitchen support role is preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands:- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift in a busy kitchen environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs safely
