Quality & Compliance SpecialistRegal Research is looking for a Quality & Compliance Specialist to support customer-facing quality communication, AS9100 compliance, corrective actions, and quality-system improvement.This role is ideal for someone personable, confident, organized, and technically capable. The right person does not need to be a senior engineer, but should have exposure to manufacturing, quality systems, and AS9100 or similar requirements.This position will work with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Inspection, Program Management, and customers to help resolve quality issues, support compliance, improve documentation, and ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and followed through internally.ResponsibilitiesRepresent the company professionally in customer‑facing quality communicationSupport SCARs, nonconformances, RMAs, DMRs, and corrective actionsHelp maintain AS9100-related processes, documentation, and trainingReview and communicate customer quality requirements internallyWork with internal teams to investigate and resolve quality issuesSupport audit readiness, procedure updates, and quality-system improvementsLearn and apply GD&T, customer specifications, and manufacturing requirementsHelp turn customer concerns into clear internal actionsRequirementsRequiredExperience in quality, compliance, manufacturing, inspection, engineering support, or a technical customer‑facing roleExposure to AS9100, ISO 9001, aerospace quality, or similar quality systemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable communicating with customers and internal teamsOrganized and able to follow issues through to completionTechnical aptitude and willingness to learn GD&T, specifications, and manufacturing requirementsConfident enough to take ownership, ask questions, and move issues forwardPreferredExperience in aerospace, defense, machining, fabrication, assembly, or precision manufacturingExperience with SCARs, corrective actions, nonconformances, RMAs, or DMRsBasic understanding of drawings, specs, inspection reports, or quality clausesExperience supporting audits, training, documentation, or quality-system improvementsFamiliarity with ERP systems or quality management systemsIdeal CandidatePersonable, professional, driven, curious, and practical.
