Air Import, AutomotiveTime Type: Full TimeSummary The Air Import Senior Team Lead will oversee and manage a team of air import coordinators and ensure that all air import shipments are handled in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. The individual will also be responsible for coordinating with clients, carriers, and customs officials to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.Duties and Responsibilities Manage and supervise a team of air import coordinators and ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresCoordinate with clients, carriers, and customs officials to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goodsMaintain accurate and complete records of all air import shipmentsEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing air import shipmentsCommunicate effectively with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfactionIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costsDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholdersProvide regular reports on team performance and identify areas for improvementParticipate in training and development programs to ensure that team members are up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory changesEducational background / Work experience Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred5+ years of experience in air export operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management roleStrong knowledge of air export regulations and proceduresExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlinesStrong leadership and team management skillsFunction / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Processes Supervisory Responsibilities (if any) Manage and supervise a team of air import coordinatorsPreferred Qualifications Certification in air export operations (e.g., IATA)Experience with air import operations in multiple regions (e.g., Asia, Europe, Americas)Familiarity with customs regulations and procedures in multiple countriesExperience with implementing process improvements and driving efficiency gainsFluent in English (oral and written)Computer Literacy Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Familiarity with logistics software and systems (e.g., TMS, WMS)At Will Employment DSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as “at will” employees.
