    Description

The Amazon Devices team is looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to manage and develop sales and marketing strategies for the Ring and Blink brands on the Amazon site in North America. Our growth requires leaders who move fast, have an entrepreneurial spirit, can work in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment, and are capable of breaking down and solving complex problems. This role will work with multiple stakeholders and have accountability towards growing the business.

You are the perfect candidate for this role if...

    - You have a track record of cross-team collaboration

    - You have driven successful e-commerce sales strategies that hit or exceeded your goals

    - You use data to make the best decisions for your customers

    - You are a self-starter and can juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic and often ambiguous environment

    - You have exceptional analytical skills and enjoy solving problems and crafting solutions

    - You like getting your hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done

    Key job responsibilities

    - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, marketing, and other internal teams to align goals and drive successful product execution.

    - Channel Performance and Improvement: Develop and execute e-commerce strategies for the Amazon site. Lead experiments that drive awareness and conversion.

    - Sales Process: Own goals around site conversion and revenue. Measure performance, analyze gaps, and provide feedback to improve the experience in running promotions and campaigns.

    - Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the category and sales ops teams to ensure a successful go-to-market strategy on the Amazon site.

    A day in the life

You will work with a cross-functional team that includes product, offline retail, finance, PR, site merchandising, and design to define, develop, and execute innovative sales and product launch strategies that drive awareness, usage and maximize sales globally.

The successful candidate will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically: from the creation of plans, to the brass tacks of execution. They will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. This is a highly visible position that will interact at all levels of the company. You must have the ability to quickly formulate plans that are deeply backed by data and execute across many work functions simultaneously. Successful team members are a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly and who understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated team.

    - Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

    About Company

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

    It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

    Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
