What You'll Do
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Prepare and post journal entries
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
Assists with tax audits and preparation of 1099 forms
Perform regular trust account reconciliations
Ensure proper segregation of client funds and operating funds
Assist with audits or reviews related to trust accounting
Ensure proper coding and approval of all expenditures
Back up with check runs and electronic payments
Maintain Accurate Accounting for Performance Metrics
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years accounting experience in professional service industry or public accounting preferred
CPA or CPA track preferred
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
