Staff Accountant
Salary: $70,000-80,000
Location: Orlando, FL (On-site with occasional plant visits)

Overview
We are partnering with a growing, multientity construction and manufacturing organization to hire a Staff Accountant for a newly created, handson role. This position was added due to increased business volume, evolving processes, and the need for stronger oversight across inventory and job costing functions.

Reporting directly to leadership, this role offers broad exposure across multiple operating entities and close collaboration with both accounting and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory processes, including monthly and annual counts, plant visits, and reconciliation of raw and finished goods
• Manage job costing activities and support projectbased accounting and billing
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy across multiple entities
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements across accounting workflows and reporting
• Review system data, exports, and integrations to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Provide oversight and support to clerical accounting functions (AP, AR, billing)
• Assist with audit preparation and ongoing financial reporting needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience (flexible for strong junior or more senior candidates)
• Inventory and/or job costing experience strongly preferred
• Background in construction, manufacturing, or projectbased environments is a plus
• Handson mindset with willingness to work in plant and operational settings
• Strong problemsolving skills and comfort navigating manual or evolving processes
• Adaptable, practical, and comfortable in a fastpaced, lessstructured environment

Work Environment

• Primarily onsite, with occasional travel to plant locations (approximately monthly)
• Handson, operational setting with exposure to plant and field activities
• Lean team structure with close collaboration across accounting and operations
