Steward / Receiving Specialist - Dallas

SAGE Dining Services® is seeking an experienced Steward specializing in Receiving and Storage to join our team in Preston Hollow, North Dallas. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and works well with others in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will manage deliveries, maintain organized storage areas, support kitchen operations, and help ensure a clean and efficient workplace. Our venue serves lunch daily to approximately 1,200 students (grades 1–12), faculty, and staff. A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills are essential for success.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 6:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Summers off
• Occasional catering events, evenings, and weekends

Pay Type:

$19.00 - $21.00 Hourly

What you'll do:

• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
• Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile!
• Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots.
• Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
• Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.

What you'll need:

• Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.
• Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
• Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual.
• Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
