    Description

    Aircraft Test Technician - Hydraulics - Everett area- 1307

    As a leader in the aerospace industry, our client is growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available, including several Test Technician in their Aircraft Hydraulic Activation group close to Everett, Washington.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Reporting to the Test Engineering Supervisor, the Test Engineer, designs, develops hydraulic actuation equipment to execute testing of aircraft hydraulic components under the direction of engineering.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for designing, developing and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Also responsible for identifying and coordinating testing activities with external testing houses.
    • Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, completes specifications and procedures for new products.
    • Performs other related duties as required.
    • Experience with RSLogix, Matlab, or other machine control and data acquisition software preferred.
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelors degree (BSME.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school;
    • Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Familiarity with FAA manufacturing guidelines and regulations preferred but not required.
    • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
