Role summary:

The Senior Manager, Data Analytics at Walmart leads advanced data initiatives to drive strategic business insights and experience improvements for our self service voice and chat channels. This role requires expertise in data analysis / strategy, product and business relationship partnership, AI design experience, and story telling to translate complex data into actionable solutions. The position involves collaborating across functions to identify data sources, ensure data integrity, and develop scalable analytics frameworks. The successful candidate will mentor teams, influence stakeholders, and apply statistical and big data methodologies to support decision-making and enhance business performance within a dynamic environment.

About the team:

The Voice of the Customer Insights Team within Customer Engagement Services (CES) connects customer experiences with the teams enhancing them. The team specializes in analyzing the end-to-end customer journey across Walmart's eCommerce ecosystem, focusing on friction points and resolution effectiveness via self-service and Customer Care channels. By integrating customer, operational, and behavioral data, the team identifies trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities. The mission is to transform customer insights into actionable strategies that reduce friction, enhance resolution and self-service, and influence processes to deliver lasting customer satisfaction, loyalty, and value.

What you''ll do:

• Lead data analytics initiatives by identifying appropriate data sources and ensuring data quality standards are met.
• Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using advanced analytics and statistical methods.
• Develop and implement data visualization strategies to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user-centric data applications and enhance user experience.
• Drive data strategy alignment with business objectives, ensuring scalability and compliance with data governance policies.
• Mentor and guide team members on analytics techniques, data quality management, and storytelling best practices.
• Monitor and improve data quality metrics, addressing issues to maintain reliable data assets.

What you''ll bring:

• Extensive experience in data analytics, including advanced analytics, statistical analysis, and big data techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL systems.
• Strong understanding of data quality management, data governance, and data strategy principles.
• Expertise in data visualization tools, vibe coding tools, and techniques to communicate complex insights effectively.
• Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable and high-quality data solutions.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
