Distribution TechnicianAccurate Medical Logistics places skilled Distribution Technicians in hospitals and healthcare facilities to support the receiving, stocking, and distribution of critical medical supplies. This is a flexible, assignment-based role: placements range from single shifts and as-needed coverage to long-term assignments of a year or more, with the possibility of being hired directly by a client facility. If you have experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory controland you're ready to grow into a leadership role across multiple facilitiesthis is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in a meaningful healthcare-support environment.Schedule Availability 5:00am-4:00pm / 8 hour shiftsAbout the RoleWork on-site at client hospitals on assignments of varying lengthsfrom one shift or as-needed coverage to year-long placementsTravel to different facilities across the region as assignments require; mileage is reimbursedServe as an on-call resource for emergency fulfillment, stepping in on short notice when client facilities need urgent coverageBetween hospital placements, remain available for as-needed roles assigned by your supervisor, which may include on-demand courier driver, driver auditor, technician auditor, or other duties until your next placementHigh-performing technicians may be offered direct hire by client facilitiesJob ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure inventory accuracyStock, label, and organize medical supplies in designated storage areas and hospital unitsMonitor product levels, rotate stock, and track expiration dates to maintain supply readinessProcess returns, manage back orders, and assist with routine cycle countsMaintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment while following supply chain protocolsCollaborate with hospital staff, vendors, and logistics partners to meet daily supply needsLearn the layouts, systems, and protocols of multiple client facilities and adapt quickly to new environmentsTrain and mentor new technicians, modeling best practices and helping onboard team members at client sitesPerform interim duties between placements, including courier driving, driver audits, technician audits, or other tasks as assignedQualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperienceMinimum 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain preferredPrior experience training others or working across multiple sites is a plusSkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work with inventory management systemsBasic computer proficiencyAbility to learn new facilities, teams, and workflows quicklyWork Ethic & LeadershipAble to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrates initiative and leadership potential; willing to train and support newer techniciansFlexible and dependablewilling to accept varying assignments, schedules, and locations, including short-notice and emergency coverageTravel RequirementsMust be willing and able to travel to client facilities across varying geographiesValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance requiredMileage reimbursed per company policyPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsCompliance RequirementsMust pass a drug screening and background checkMust provide proof of required vaccinations - we provide vaccines if needed
