Job Description

Job Summary:

Performs accounting functions including reconciling and balancing accounts, applying payments and account reconciliations. This position interacts with the Accounting Manager, other accounting department personnel, and all AFFLINK associates.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Reconcile and balance accounts
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded and reconciled at month end.
• Prepares journal entries as deemed necessary in accounts for which responsibility has been delegated.
• Prepare month end account reconciliations
• Apply payments received each day for departments which responsibility has been delegated.
• Cash Sheet and lockbox backup duties include downloading the lockbox, loading cash sheet with deposit information, and processing images in the scanner.
• Performs additional assigned duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager, Director of Accounting or other management.

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience - Required Experience: 1 - 3 years of accounting experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in accounting or related field from a four year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Two (2) to Four (4) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3 - 5 years of accounting experience specifically in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll within foodservice industry

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
