What You'll Be Doing
- Operate front-end loaders and other mobile equipment to safely move, load, and stockpile aggregate materials.
- Supply processing plants and load customer trucks efficiently to support nightly production goals.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections and monitor equipment performance to identify and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain safe work areas by following established safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with plant personnel and fellow team members to optimize material flow and operational efficiency.
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy mobile equipment in an industrial, quarry, or similar environment.
- Strong commitment to safety, situational awareness, and compliance with operating procedures.
- Ability to work independently during night shift operations while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with a focus on supporting operational goals.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities to identify and address routine operational issues.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
