What You'll Be Doing
Safely operate and navigate company vessels in accordance with regulations
Perform routine vessel inspections and coordinate basic maintenance needs
Communicate effectively with crew, dispatch, and shore personnel
Ensure safe transport of materials while maintaining operational efficiency
Maintain accurate logs and documentation for vessel operations
What Are We Looking For
Demonstrated ability to operate marine vessels safely and confidently
Strong situational awareness and sound judgment in varying conditions
Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
Ability to collaborate with crew members and communicate clearly
Capability to perform basic mechanical or operational troubleshooting
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
