What You’ll Do:
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate outpatient therapy needs for various patient types (orthopedic, balance, deconditioned, pain management, etc.)
  • Gather pertinent patient data from charts and coordinate with physicians
  • Independently evaluate patients and develop measurable, realistic goals
  • Reassess patient progress regularly and adjust care plans accordingly
  • Identify equipment needs and involve patients and families in care planning
  • Ensure adherence to all standards of practice and regulatory policies
  • Document patient care interventions accurately and thoroughly
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and institutional guidelines

What You Need:
  • Valid LPT license in Texas or a compact state
  • Bachelor’s degree (Doctorate preferred) in Physical Therapy
  • BLS certification (AHA) preferred
  • Minimum prior outpatient therapy experience is highly desired
  • Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
