Position Summary
The Director, Global Sales Strategy & Operations leads the operational management of the global sales organization. This role enables sales leadership to focus on executive client relationships, strategic account development, coaching, and revenue generation by providing the operational discipline required to scale the business globally.
The Director partners closely with Sales, Solution Architecture, Pricing, Marketing, Finance, Delivery, Legal, and Executive Leadership to ensure complex enterprise pursuits are executed seamlessly from qualification through contract execution. This position is expected to deliver measurable improvements in sales productivity, forecast reliability, operational excellence, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Operations
Lead the operational management of the global sales organization.
Establish and manage the operating cadence for sales, including pipeline reviews, forecasting, opportunity reviews, business reviews, and executive reporting.
Own CRM governance, ensuring pipeline accuracy, forecast integrity, and consistent opportunity management.
Develop and maintain sales dashboards, KPI reporting, and executive business insights.
Analyze pipeline health, sales performance, conversion rates, and forecasting trends to identify improvement opportunities.
Recommend and implement process improvements to increase sales productivity and operational efficiency.
Executive Business Partner
Act as the operational extension of the Vice President of Global Sales.
Prepare executive summaries, manage follow-up actions, coordinate leadership communications, and ensure execution of strategic initiatives.
Manage communication between internal stakeholders, tracking milestones and action items.
Enterprise Deal Orchestration
Serve as the project manager for complex, multi-product enterprise pursuits by coordinating internal resources throughout the sales lifecycle.
Develop opportunity execution plans, coordinate proposal timelines and deliverables, and ensure efficient progress of strategic pursuits through contract execution.
Sales Performance & Business Analytics
Develop executive dashboards and scorecards.
Monitor pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, win rates, sales activity, proposal conversion, revenue trends, and identify performance trends for continual improvement.
Support territory planning, account planning, and sales resource allocation.
Marketing & Demand Generation Operations
Partner with Marketing to operationalize sales campaigns and demand generation initiatives.
Coordinate campaign execution, manage lead distribution, monitor campaign effectiveness, and drive adoption of prospecting initiatives.
Sales Enablement
Standardize sales processes and best practices globally.
Maintain sales playbooks and support onboarding and training of sales professionals.
Improve adoption of sales technologies and CRM tools, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as primary operational liaison between Global Sales and other internal teams.
Ensure timely communication, alignment of priorities, and accountability for strategic opportunities and initiatives.

Base pay range for this position is $92,400 - $123,200. Final annual compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.
