We're Hiring: Aircraft Mechanic 3 | Northrop Grumman Corporation

Join Northrop Grumman and support the U.S. Navy E-6B TACAMO aircraft maintenance program while working on mission-critical aerospace systems.

Location: Lake Charles, LA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $40–$47/hour + Per Diem (for candidates living more than 50 miles from the work location)
Open Positions: 4
Shift: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:42 PM (Overtime may be required)

Key Responsibilities
Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications.
Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems.
Maintain flight controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and engine systems.
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
Complete aircraft maintenance logs and documentation.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 10 years of aircraft maintenance or avionics experience
Experience troubleshooting aircraft mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance

Preferred Qualifications
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
Boeing 707 or E-6B aircraft experience
