Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,278 per week in Ann Arbor, MI

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Surgical Step-Down) – Michigan

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend required. Holiday coverage includes Thanksgiving and one additional winter holiday.

Highlights:

• High-acuity surgical step-down unit with fast-paced environment ideal for nurses with ICU or critical care experience
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 3:1 to 4:1
• Manage complex surgical cases with chest tubes, arterial lines, central lines, PICCs, ostomies, trachs, NG tubes, wound vacs, and various drains
• Administer critical IV drips and infusions including Heparin, Insulin, Nitroglycerin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• BLS certification required

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Michigan (or ability to obtain)
• BLS certification (current)
• Previous step-down or ICU experience strongly preferred
• Competency managing high-acuity surgical patients and complex medical devices
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Proficiency with multiple IV drips and titration protocols
