Job Title: 1st Class Short-Arc (GMAW) Welder
Location: Lockport, LA.
Position Overview:
The 1st Class Short-Arc (GMAW) Welder is responsible for welding structural metal components according to blueprints, work orders, or verbal instructions. This position requires proficiency in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) using the Short-Arc technique.
Requirements:
• Minimum six (6) months of Short-Arc (GMAW) welding experience.
• Must successfully pass a hands-on 3G/4G Short-Arc (GMAW) welding test, which includes:
o 3G position welded with downhill progression.
o 4G position welded entirely in the overhead position.
