Assembler - 1st Shift Penmac Staffing is hiring Assemblers for a full-time, 1st shift opportunity in the Russellville area. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have good attention to detail, and are looking to grow their manufacturing experience. Pay starts at $14.00 per hour.Requirements for the Assembler
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred (3-6 months), but training is available
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting
- Must be willing to submit to required pre-employment screenings
Assembler ResponsibilitiesAs an Assembler, you will be responsible for the electronic and mechanical assembly of manufacturing orders. Duties may include:
- Preparing materials and components for assembly
- Performing electronic and mechanical assembly tasks
- Testing finished products and components
- Conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Following safety procedures and production guidelines
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Working cooperatively with team members and other departments
Work EnvironmentWork is performed in a manufacturing facility and may involve exposure to moving equipment, noise, dust, fumes, drafts, and airborne particles. Employees should be comfortable standing, walking, reaching, bending, grasping, and using their hands throughout the shift.Schedule & Pay
