About the Role

We are seeking a skilled forklift operator to safely operate reach trucks and cherry pickers within a warehouse environment. This position involves moving, storing, picking, and replenishing inventory primarily using powered industrial equipment. The successful candidate will prioritize safety, inventory accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks and cherry pickers to move, store, pick, and replenish inventory within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials accurately and efficiently.
• Retrieve inventory from elevated rack locations using powered industrial equipment.
• Verify product accuracy during picking and replenishment tasks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment to promote safety standards.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections on forklifts and related equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and equipment operation guidelines.
• Assist with inventory management and documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to achieve productivity goals.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience operating reach trucks and cherry pickers in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment, including reach trucks and cherry pickers.
• Forklift certification as a Certified Forklift Operator.
• Ability to lift and move materials of at least 20 pounds.
• Comfortable working at elevated heights.
• Strong attention to safety and inventory accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with forklift safety standards or additional forklift certifications beyond basic operation.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move materials of at least 20 pounds.
