1st Shift | Full-Time Penmac Staffing is hiring experienced Industrial Painters for a manufacturing facility in the Russellville area. This position is ideal for candidates with industrial painting experience who have strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. The primary focus of this role is painting and finishing sheet metal products while maintaining quality and safety standards. Mandatory overtime is required based on production demands.Requirements for the Industrial Painter
- Previous industrial painting experience required
- Experience working with sheet metal products preferred
- Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and production machines
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Industrial Painter Responsibilities
- Prepare, paint, and finish sheet metal products according to specifications
- Operate and maintain painting equipment and related machinery
- Utilize painting tools including brushes, spray systems, pressure pot systems, airless systems, and other industrial painting equipment
- Prepare surfaces through masking, cleaning, and paint removal processes
- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet company standards
- Read work orders, measurements, and specifications accurately
- Maintain painting equipment and ensure proper operation
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with production activities and other departments as needed
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, fumes, and airborne particles
- Fast-paced production setting with moving equipment and machinery
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, and lifting
- Ability to safely work around moving equipment, sharp edges, and congested work areas
- Physical stamina required to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
