Job Title: Packing Department Associate (Microgreens Production) - 1st Shift

Job Summary:
The Job Center Staffing is hiring 1st Shift Packing Department Associates to support a fast-paced microgreens and herbs production operation. This role involves inspecting, weighing, and packaging fresh products while maintaining strict quality and food safety standards. Candidates should be comfortable working in a cold environment and performing repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail.

Compensation:
  • $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
  • Schedule TBD: May Include Overtime/Weekends as Needed
  • Overtime and weekend shifts as needed
Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, weigh, and package microgreens and herbs into plastic clamshell containers according to established standards
  • Pack products on the line while ensuring quality standards are consistently met
  • Accurately label and prepare packaged goods for distribution
  • Maintain productivity standards as directed by supervisors
  • Assist with additional warehouse responsibilities as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Identify and remove damaged or substandard product
Work Environment:
  • Work is performed in a refrigerated environment (approximately 30-34°F)
  • Layered clothing is encouraged to maintain comfort and productivity
  • Standing in one area for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks is required
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Manual dexterity to handle delicate products
Requirements:
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
