1st Shift | Full-Time Penmac Staffing is hiring experienced Punch Press Operators for a manufacturing facility in the Russellville area. This position is ideal for candidates with machine operation experience who are comfortable working with sheet metal, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality standards in a production environment. As a Punch Press Operator, you will play a key role in manufacturing precision metal components while following established safety and production procedures.Requirements for the Punch Press Operator
- Previous punch press or manufacturing machine operation experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production specifications
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and measurement tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work effectively with a team
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities including pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and reaching
Punch Press Operator Responsibilities
- Operate punch press equipment to manufacture sheet metal components
- Read blueprints and production specifications to ensure accurate part production
- Perform quality inspections and verify measurements throughout the production process
- Complete required production paperwork accurately
- Assist with machine setup and tooling changes as needed
- Package completed parts for shipment
- Follow all safety policies and manufacturing procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist other departments as production needs require
Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and fumes
- Fast-paced production setting with moving machinery and metal materials
- Frequent standing, lifting, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
