Opportunity:
Propel Schools is seeking an Head Varsity Track Coach for the 26-27 season starting this spring:
- Propel Andrew Street High School
- Propel Braddock Hills High School
- Propel Montour High School
Successful candidates will have:
- Prior Varsity or Junior Varsity coaching experience
- Preferred candidates will have student-athlete experience on the high school and/or intercollegiate level, prior high school coaching experience, & USATF certification
- Responsibility for assembling coaching staff
- Must possess knowledge of rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport
- Responsibility for supporting the Varsity program with the assistant coach, athletic director and other coaching staff
- Experience implementing off-season programs in accordance with WPIAL/PIAA regulations.
- Willingness and ability to attend all required PIAA preseason coaching meetings and mandatory coaching certification/trainings in compliance with PIAA regulations.
- High level of personal organization and planning
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
- A commitment to the Propel Habits
Season Information:
- The 2026-2027 Varsity Track Season is scheduled to begin in and is anticipated to begin in March and conclude in May, although the season may end earlier/later depending on if the team participates in postseason.
- This position includes a seasonal stipend of $3,000. Please note that the stipend will be prorated for coaches who begin after the official start of the season.

- Up-to-date TB Test
- Act 34 Criminal Clearance
- Act 114 FBI Clearance
- Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
- Mandated Reporter Training
