Job Description Summary

Project Applications Engineering provides Business Development support for Refurbishment & Package Upgrade projects. This team is responsible for directing the company's internal activities associated with supporting the sales of gas compressor restages and package refurbishment for Oil and Gas market. This position involves working with Sales, Gas Compressor overhaul facilities, Gas Compressor Engineering, Package Engineering, and Project Management team to plan, develop, and execute technical and commercial strategies to successfully support the gas compressor aftermarket business.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Organize and analyze historical CRM restage proposal data
  • Analyze output from the restage lead generator tool
  • Data mine customer database to identify top compressor customers by region and installed base
  • Develop cut sheets for the top 20 customers outlining fleet and restage potential
  • Organize historical compressor curves by model for rapid restage evaluation in gas compressor analysis tools

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently in the process of obtaining a 4 year or advanced degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Classified by your school as a Junior or Senior currently planning to attend graduate school.
  • Overall GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous co-operative/Internship experience.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • High energy level and sense of urgency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good business / technical judgment.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities for a variety of tasks.

Summary Pay Range:

$26.00 - $43.00

Intern Hourly Rate:

An intern's hourly rate is based on the major/degree being pursued and the number of completed academic hours achieved before the start of the internship.
