Responsibilities + Participate in sourcing activities related to new product launches and current product changes. + Assist with selecting and managing suppliers. + Perform make vs. buy analysis to determine optimum supply chain. + Support supplier transition process to move work from one supplier to another or from in-house factory to external supplier. + Support Materials and Quality teams to address supplier delivery and quality issues. + Coordinate RFQ (Request for Quote) packages with supply base. + Contribute to supplier rationalization efforts. + Assist with efforts to identify and implement cost reductions as part of VA/VE team. + Assist Accounts Payable as needed to ensure suppliers are paid on time.
