POSITION TITLE: 2027 Proposal Services - School Year Internship

Youll gain valuable insight into the asset management industry, build your network, and take part in engaging events throughout the summer designed to foster collaboration, connect you with the firm and your fellow interns.

Purpose of the Internship:

Develop a strong foundation in the investment industry while playing a key role in the due diligence process at Federated Hermes. As a Proposal Services School Year Intern, you'll partner with experts across investment management, operations, compliance, and sales to deliver accurate, timely product and firm information that supports new business efforts and strengthens client relationships. You'll also use AI to modernize how information is curated and delivered, driving greater efficiency across the due diligence process.

Major Duties:

• Assist team members with the completion of DDQs and recurring client deliverables by helping build project plans, timelines, and workflows that keep contributors aligned and responses accurate and timely
• Support team members in keeping third-party consultant databases (e.g., eVestment, Callan, Morningstar) accurate and current using data-transformation and automated processes
• Assist team members in working with investment management, operations, compliance, sales, and other subject-matter teams to interpret client requests and deliver clear, tailored, policy-aligned responses
• Help draft, refine, and peer review written responses to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards (e.g., SEC, FINRA), and assist with RFP opportunities on an ad hoc basis
• Contribute to process improvement and automation efforts using tools such as Responsive and Power BI to help strengthen content and database governance

Hours/location:

• Full-time summer schedule working 37.5 hours/week and part-time school year schedule working 15-20 hours/week. Work hours can be flexible based on student's schedule.
• Opportunities available in Pittsburgh and Warrendale locations
• Hybrid work arrangement (4 days in office / 1 day remote)

Position Specifications:

• Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Business, Economics, or equivalent preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
• Knowledge of investment industry and mutual fund terminology preferred
• COMMENCEMENT DATE: 11/04/2026
