Go beyond the impossible and join the Flight Club. Day in the Life of a Software/Computer Science Engineering Intern We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate. From tiltrotor technology to tail sitting vehicles, our engineers work across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs. As an Engineering Intern at Bell, you can expect to: + Gain familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification. + Develop software / coding experience using C , C#, Matlab and other industry standard development environments. + Learn control system design and modeling Qualifications What You'll Need: + Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science required + Minimum 60 college credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience + Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1- August 6, 2027 + 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA strongly preferred What Will Make You Stand Out: + Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification. + Software / coding experience using C , C#, Matlab and other industry standard development environments. + Control system design and modeling using Simulink, and implementation on hardware. + Software verification test experience in high fidelity hardware-in-the-loop (HILS) environments using integrated flight dynamic modeling of air vehicle performance Why You'll Love Interning at Textron This internship is more than a summer experience - offering mentorship, training, and meaningful, hands-on work that helps you build confidence, develop new skills, and take real steps toward your career goals.
