2027 Summer Internship - Financial Advisor - New Jersey

Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically as a financial advisor, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint that consistently ranks among the world's top financial institutions?

We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program within our UBS Wealth Advice Center business.

You'll get to:

• learn fundamentals of customer service, financial products, financial markets, financial planning, investment strategies, banking solutions, consultative selling, and wealth management solutions
• shadow experienced financial advisors across various UBS Wealth Advice Center teams, participate in real world projects and get first-hand experience strategizing on key business initiatives
• attend educational events led by senior leaders that provide extensive exposure and insight into the business
• study and complete the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam and/or Series 66 exam

Your expertise

Your expertise :

We're looking for a candidate who:

• will graduate with a bachelor''s degree between December 2027 and June 2028 and has a minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA
• will take and pass the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam before starting the internship (preferred, not required)
• is interested in financial advising, wealth management, financial markets, and relationship building
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
• can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency
