Key Skills and Qualifications:
Active RN license in Texas or a valid compact license
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
At least 1 year of nursing experience in a related specialty (preferred)
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and delegation skills
Ability to provide comprehensive patient education and emotional support
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in a similar medical/surgical setting
Additional certifications relevant to surgical or acute care
Familiarity with electronic health records systems
Multilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience
Other Requirements:
Availability to start on April 20, 2026
Willingness to travel and adapt to various healthcare environments
Ability to work a 12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Compliance with all state, federal, and hospital-specific licensing and travel reimbursements
