26/26 FTYR Mountain Operations Mechanic

Location: Hancock, MA
Pay: $16 – $20/hour (based on experience)
Full-Time | Year-Round 

At Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, we’re looking for mechanically inclined individuals to join our year-round operations team. As a mechanic, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the equipment that powers our mountain -from snowmobiles and ski lifts to grooming machines and trucks. If you’re ready for a hands-on role in a one-of-a-kind setting, this is your opportunity.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with maintenance and repairs on grooming machines, ski lifts, snowmobiles, and trucks.
• Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Help with snow plowing, sanding, and other seasonal tasks.
• Work outdoors in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
• Some 2nd shifts may be required during the winter season.

What We’re Looking For:

• 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Entry-level mechanical skills welcome—we’ll train the right person.
• Physically able to lift 50 lb, push, pull heavy equipment and navigate steep terrain.
• Safety-focused, dependable, and ready to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be comfortable working at heights and climbing elevated structures, including ladders, platforms, and aerial elements.
