We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Central Sterile Services Department CSSD Technician Bank Team. CSSD plays a vital role in supporting healthcare services across Dumfries and Galloway by ensuring that reusable medical devices and surgical instruments are cleaned disinfected sterilised and ready for safe use.
The core activities of the department include the disassembly disinfection inspection assembly packing and sterilisation of reusable medical devices. As part of our friendly and supportive team you will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality decontamination service for theatres clinics and other patient treatment areas across the region.
No previous CSSD experience is essential. Full training will be provided through our structured departmental training programme giving you the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills across all aspects of the decontamination process.
