Our client is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to be based in the Dallas area. This candidate will be responsible for the sale of laboratory research equipment and related consumables into the biotechnology, academic, and pharmaceutical research facilities in the assigned territory. Additional responsibilities include managing existing accounts as well as gaining new business.
Requirements:
B.S. in the sciences
Will take someone OUT OF THE LAB; Life Science Sales experience a plus
Desire to be in a customer-facing role, i.e., interact with customers, prospect for leads, walk the halls of research facilities
A PLUS - Technical knowledge with molecular biology, protein analysis, cell biology, genomics, proteomics, assay development, antibodies, sample prep, etc.
Team player plus must have the ability to work independently
Driven, passionate, with a desire to be in a Life Science sales role
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability for some overnight travel
Based near Dallas

Total Estimated Compensation (estimation based on PSG market data): $125,000 - $175,000, plus home office setup, company car, and excellent benefits
