2nd Class Electricians

kad is seeking experienced 2nd Class Electricians to assist with electrical installation and maintenance work in an industrial environment. This role is well suited to a dependable, safety-conscious professional with hands-on experience in conduit installation and general electrical construction, who is comfortable working under the direction of a 1st Class Electrician or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Run and install conduit in accordance with drawings and project requirements
• Pull and route electrical wiring and cable
• Install cable trays, junction boxes, light fixtures, switches, receptacles, and other basic electrical components
• Perform basic electrical terminations
• Read and follow electrical drawings, work orders, and specifications
• Assist with disconnecting and removing electrical equipment and machinery as needed
• Use common electrical hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Work under the direction of a 1st Class Electrician or supervisor to complete tasks accurately and on schedule
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company and site safety policies
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements

• Strong, demonstrated experience running conduit
• Experience pulling and routing electrical wiring
• Experience installing cable trays, junction boxes, light fixtures, switches, receptacles, and other basic electrical components
• Ability to perform basic electrical terminations
• Ability to read and follow electrical drawings
• Experience with common electrical hand and power tools
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting, and to work in various weather conditions
• Dependable, with a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under the direction of a 1st Class Electrician or supervisor
• Ability to understand and communicate in English as required for safe and efficient job execution

Preferred

• Own set of basic electrical hand tools

Safety Equipment

Required personal protective equipment includes a hard hat, steel-toe boots, FR clothing, safety glasses, and any additional job site safety equipment.
