2nd CNC Machinist- Direct Hire $$$

We are seeking an experienced 2nd CNC Machinist for a direct hire position in Salem, OH. If you have a strong background in high-mix machining environments, we want to hear from you!

This role is with a busy job shop that values skilled machinists capable of setting up machines, editing programs, and mastering G-Code. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of machining experience, with a minimum of 2 years operating CNC Mills or Lathes in high-volume, diverse projects. Hours: 1st Shift, 16:02:43 16:02:43

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Set up CNC mills and lathes for production runs
Perform program edits and optimize machining processes
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with specifications
Maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience machining in a job shop environment
2+ years experience operating CNC Mills or Lathes in a high-mix environment
Ability to perform machine setup and program edits
Mastery of G-Code programming

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience working in high-volume production environments
Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Education and Experience:

Vocational training or technical degree preferred but not required
Proven track record of precise machining and setup skills

Other Requirements:

On-site work required
Ability to work on first shift schedule
